Lot 10: Painting by: Ken Scott

This Ken Scott painting is his version of the famous work Washington Crossing the Delaware by Emanual Leutze. It is done in an early folk art style known as naive and rendered in ink and watercolor. This wonderful piece shows General Washington in the boat with several of his troops as they approach Trenton, seen in the upper left. Behind Washington, the rest of his troops are afloat on the Delaware River moving with him. The entirety is painted on the inside of an antiqued book cover and beautifully framed. This piece will look stunning mounted on the wall of your house!
