Lot 21: Frontier’sman Knife by: Lisa Williams

Black powder shooters can never own too many knives, and artist Lisa Williams created a frontier classic for this year’s CLF Fundraising auction. Forged from 1084 steel, the blade features a robust, hand-forged patina on a traditional profile. It’s an attractive collector-grade knife that nonetheless features a razor-sharp blade that will function well in the field.

The blade is fitted with osage orange scales and attached with brass pins in a subtle decorative pattern. The scales also feature an exquisitely finished poured pewter bolster. Williams’ quintessential frontier knife comes complete with a custom sheath crafted from heavyweight vegetable-tanned leather.
